Travel is one of the most exciting words in the dictionary. It can lead to adventure, challenge, change, family, friends, escape, discovery and so much more. For some these words initiate fear, for others pleasure. It’s origins were instinctively related to pain and anguish in the 1400’s, but as travel has become easier with today’s technology, the globe has become smaller and the incentives to travel more rewarding. Today travel means seeing, tasting and experiencing other cultures, so as to educate and stimulate the mind. I never thought it would be possible to live in one city, work in an other and date someone in neither of the two. A world traveller is one minute here, the next gone, unable to sit still for fear of boredom because the world is their oyster and there is still much to discover. “There’s a big difference between simply being a tourist and being a true world traveler,” ~ Michael Kasum.
